Biographical / Historical
The Boulder Ballet was founded as a performing ensemble from the Ballet Arts Studio, founded in 1982 by Barbara Demaree and Larry Boyette. The company, originally names Boulder City Ballet and then changed to Boulder Ballet Ensemble brought award winning theatrical ballet productions to the Boulder area. The company was founded by Barbara Demaree and Wanda Tierney. In 1995, the company changed its name to Boulder Ballet.
