The collection contains two eyeglass cases from Gorden and Nielsen, optometrists in the Security Life Building, and one eyeglass case from The Republic Optical Co., located in the Republic Building. The Security Life Building was originally built in 1964 at 1600 Glenarm Place as an office building, but has since been turned into a residential building in the heart of Denver. The Republic Building was at 1612 Tremont Place but was demolished in 1981 to make way for Republic Plaza.
