Dr. Robert Levy (1864-1945) began attending the University of Denver in 1880. Most of the signatures in the autograph album date from when he was a student at the university. He started practicing medicine in Denver in 1884 after training at Bellevue Hospital. He helped found National Jewish Hospital and Gross Medical College. Sam Stoole was born in Denver in 1910 and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Engineering. He worked as an engineer for the State of Colorado for seven years. In the early 1940s, he began commercial construction and founded the Sam Stoole Construction Company. Samuel Ralph Freeman was a lawyer originally from New York. He was assistant to the Colorado Attorney General from 1955-1958, Vice President of the Denver Rio Grande Railroad and later as the assistant to the chancellor at the University of Denver. He was also president of B’nai B’rith. Collection contains memoirs written by Samuel Freeman related Samuel Ralph from 1929 through 2003.
