Independent Order of B'nai B'rith. Denver Lodge No. 171 (Denver, Colo.)

B'nai B'rith is the oldest and largest of the national Jewish service organizations in the United States. The Charter for the Denver Chapter states that the (Independent Order of B’nai B’rith Charter for a Lodge to be known by the name, style and title of Denver Lodge No. 171 to hold its sessions in the city of Denver, Col. seventh day of April, 1872 (5632)). Through a national effort, the organization raised enough money to open National Jewish Hospital for Consumptives in 1899.

Abstract Sidney Grazi was born in 1914, the oldest of four children born of immigrant parents (Aleppo, Syria; and Russia). He was a proficient musician, private pilot, and general contractor of homes and commercial properties in Denver through the Titan Construction Company. Collection contains awards and photographs related to Sidney Grazi from 1960 through 1965.
