Biography

Est. 1914 as: Denver Bible Institute, changed to Denver Bible College in 1945, and Rockmount College ca. 1949. Merged with Western Bible Institute in 1985 to become Colorado Christian College, which merged with Colorado Baptist University in 1989 to become Colorado Christian University. In 1981, Rockmont College was awarded accreditation by the North Central Association. Principal campus near Morrison, Colo. ca. 1962-1989; in Lakewood 1989- . Foothills campus remained in limiteduse until end of 2000. Has an online center, and regional centers which include Aurora, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Colo.
