Overview The Denver Public Library began the Creating Communities Project in 2008. The library and partners, including the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society (RMJHS), contributed information and digitized images on different Denver neighborhoods. Overview A group of Jewsish friends, who had grown up on Denver's Jewish West Side neighborhood, organized a pinic. The Denver West Side Reunion Picnic was held on July 15, 1979. High school classes of 1955 through 1958 were invited. Roberta Greengard, chair of the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society, prepared questionnaires.
