The first reference to Colorado Seminary was in The Rocky Mountain News of November 27, 1862: “ a board of Trustees, composed of the solid men of Denver, has been organized to superintend the erection of a seminary building… for an academic education.”

Abstract

This image depicts four unidentified students from the University of Denver participating in The Park People organization, at an unidentified location, circa 1995. The students are standing against a wood fence, wearing The Park People t-shirts and homemade "DU" bandanas, either around their thigh or head. Two of the students are holding gardening tools and a newly planted tree is inbetween the four of them.
