The first reference to Colorado Seminary was in The Rocky Mountain News of November 27, 1862: “ a board of Trustees, composed of the solid men of Denver, has been organized to superintend the erection of a seminary building… for an academic education.”

Collection contains 1 framed degree for John Hipp dated July 14, 1884 from the Univeristy of Denver. Hipp was the first student to graduate with a degree from the Unievrsity of Denver. The degree is mostly in Latin and has the seal of the Univeristy in the right hand corner.

Marconi (Class of '89) was a History Major at the University of Denver when she contacted numerous women who had graduated from DU during the 1920s and asked them to fill out a questionnaire about being a female student at DU during that time. This small collection consists of 35 quesionnaires filled out by the alumnae.
Martin M. Weitz Papers
In 1977 Dr. Weitz (1907-1992) was the coordinator and guiding force for a Congress on Science and Ethics held at the University of Denver. The Congress brought together participants from science, religion and medicine to discuss relavant topics. The Martin M. Weitz papers document that Congress.
