Biography

Groundbreaking of the stadium began in 1925. Football stadium opened to a game with Colorado School of Mines in 1926. It was later demolished in 1971 and replaced by tennis courts and fields.

Abstract

Aaron Lutz excelled at both baseball and football in numerous competitions, starring at catcher for University of Colorado, East High School, and the Denver Bears, earning a brief stint in the Chicago White Sox organization in the early 1930s.
