Abstract

Personal papers belonging to a George Stehle of Pennsylvainia. Papers include his birth certificate, copy of his Last Will and Testament, WPA employment record and pay summary, letter about grievence to mediation board for Penn. and Lake Erie Railroad, letter from Post Office and senate committee and check from Denver Dry Goods Store. There is an envelope from JCRS but it is empty. Also containes financial information.

Abstract Peter H. Dominick (1915-1981) was an attorney who was elected as a Republican to the United States Senate and served as a U.S. Senator from Colorado from 1963-1975. He also served as U.S. Representative from Colorado for the Second District from 1961-1963. In 1946, Dominick and his family moved from Connecticut to Colorado, where Dominick joined the Denver law firm of Holland and Hart as a partner. Sen. Abstract

Senator Young, Senator Cannon, Senator Dominick and Lieutenant General Moorman stand next to the Eagle and Fledglings statue on the campus of the U. S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The plaque at the base of the statue reads Presented by Members of the Air Training Command, 1958. The academy's permanent campus opened at this site in 1958. The Cadet Chapel, a National Historic Landmark, and the Rampart Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains can be seen in the background.
