Chamberlin Observatory, 1889 - 1894
File consists of thirty-one (31) cyanontype blueprints and technical drawings of the Chamberlin Observatory telescope and dome, as well as of the Student Observatory. Also included in the file folder is a ripped fragment from the bottom left corner of a technical drawing blueprint. Material spans from 1889 - 1894.
Chamberlin Observatory, 1889 - 1894, bulk 1889 - 1890
File includes twenty-four (24) architectural drawings of the Chamberlin and Student Observatory. The drawings are mainly of structural parts and each have an additional copy included within the file folder. Included is a set of ten (10) architectural drawings that were bound together. Material spans approximately from 1889 to 1894; however, the bulk of the drawings are from 1889 - 1890.
Chamberlin Observatory Bills and Receipts, 1880-1920
Materials related to the building of the Chamberlin Observatory and the Saegmuller telescope: contracts, specifications, bills and receipts, drawings, and observatory account books. This series also includes publications, articles, clippings, announcements and photographs as well as his thesis on Kepler's Problem and several essays and articles written by Howe.
