Biography
The Civic Center Campus was a collection of buildings owned by the University of Denver, located in downtown Denver, Colorado near the capitol building. Denver's Civic Center is defined as the area around the intersection of Broadway and Colfax Avenue.

A shot of a large crowd gathered on the lawn of the Denver Capitol building, many sitting and facing away from the building. A few signs can be seen- a drawing of a raised fist, and a large banner, reads "Do it with love"- as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the University of Denver (DU) campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.

University of Denver (DU) protesters sit in the park outside of the Denver Civic Center in front of the Capitol Building. Some sit on a bench, most sit in the grass. There are also people sitting in a tree. They gather as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the DU campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
