Abstract

University of Denver (DU) protesters sit in the park outside of the Denver Civic Center in front of the Capitol Building. Some sit on a bench, most sit in the grass. There are also people sitting in a tree. They gather as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the DU campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
