Biography
In 1887, Frances Wisebart Jacobs, Father William O'Ryan (Catholic Priest), Reverend Myron Reed (social gospel advocate), and Rabbi William Friedman of Congregation Emanuel founded Denver Charitable Organization Society. That organization evolved into the National United Way.
