The Denver Bears were a minor league in Denver from 1901 to 1954. From 1923 to 1932, Milton Anfenger was the president and owner of the Denver Bears.

Milton Anfenger scrapbook containing newspaper clippings and programs about Colorado Elks Club and his ownership of the Denver Bears baseball club from 1923 to 1932. He was known as "Mr. Baseball" in Denver. A member of Elks Lodge #17, he was elected Exalted Ruler in 1913.

Milton L. Anfenger was an attorney, Colorado state senator, humanitarian, and civic leader who lived in Denver, Colorado. He was president of National Jewish Hospital and the Denver Bears Baseball Club. He was a member of the Elks, Masons, Shriners, and B'nai B'rith. The papers include newspapers, newspaper clippings, invitations, photographs, and scrapbooks.
