During World War I, the University of Denver was designated as a unit of the Students' Army Training Corps. The records of the unit include enlistment information, physical examination records and demobilization records in addition to correspondence and general material on the Unit.

Series 1 contains the general records of the S.A.T.C. Unit at the University of Denver. Included are correspondence, physical exam reports, classifications, Officer of the Day reports, Orders for transfers, leaves and furloughs, Quartermaster information, and information on the demobilization of the unit.
