Biography
Central City Opera House is given to the University of Denver by the McFarlane family in 1932 (Ida Kruse McFarlane, Professor of English at DU, good friends with Anne Evans). The CCOHA was administered as a non-profit corporation during this time.

This box contains approximately 130 negatives and slides from the Central City Opera House Association records from an unknown period of time. Negatives were found in the CCOHA offices, when rehoused any information pertaining to image was transfered onto the sleeve handwritten in pencil - Images in the box are interior and exterior images of the Opera House and images from the CCOH garden from the 1983 festival season.

Negatives were found in the CCOHA offices, when rehoused any information pertaining to image was transfered onto the sleeve handwritten in pencil - all images in this box are from a binder labeled 'Photo Search List.' Images may or may not exist in printed form elsewhere in the collection and images may or may not represent every event from the season.
