Overview Colorado Ballet, located in Denver, Colorado is a regional dance company that was conceived as a ballet school, and founded in 1951, by Denver natives Freidann Parker and Lillian Covillo. To showcase their students, the life-long friends established Colorado Concert Ballet in 1961. Scope and Contents This series includes Souvenir Programs, Concert Programs, and a set of Mailers to sponsors. Special items include the company's first concert program and it's 9th and 10th anniversary season souvenir programs. It covers the company in it's first performance location - Colorado Women’s College at Montview and Quebec - and first two studio/rehearsal locations - 3210 E Colfax: 1961-1975 and 5305 E Colfax: 1975-1981.
