Overview Handwritten letter from H. Cohen to C.D. Spivak. Cohen introduces Rosa Gordon and recommends her as an inmate to the JCRS sanatorium. Cohen tells Spivak that she is an excellent girl and Sunday school teacher. Cohen asks Spivak to do what he can for Rosa and signs the letter, “H. Cohen” at the bottom.

Overview Typed letter from Dr. N. Mosessohn to C.D. Spivak. Mosessohn tells Spivak that the $2.50 sent to Spivak to cover Mr. Nagler’s boarding was actually paid for by Mr. Nagler. Therefore, Mosessohn asks Spivak to give the $2.50 to Mr. Nagler on behalf of the Jewish Relief Society.

Mosessohn on letterhead that states, "SECRETARY'S OFFICE Jewish Relief Society 616 CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Portland, Oregon" dated "December 9 1908" [sic]. N. Mosessohn informs Dr. Spivak that Mr. L Swerdlicks is bringing his wife to Denver for treatment. Dr. Mosessohn asks if Dr. Spivak would help secure a place for the Swerdlicks' to stay while they wait for Mrs. Swerdlicks' admittance to the JCRS Sanatorium. The letter is signed in ink by Dr....
