Overview Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to A. Lehrfeld, secretary of the Admiral Schley Lodge #248 O.B.A. Spivak addresses the letter that was originally sent to H. Masliansky regarding the complaints made from friends of Fred Rosner. The friends complained that JCRS only took care of Rosner for three weeks and then discharged him with nowhere else to go. Spivak tells Lehrfeld that Rosner filed his application on April 26th, 1909 while bearing letters from the Grad Master, Samuel Dorf and from Mrs....

Spivak in Denver, Colorado, to Mr. Samuel Dorf, Grand Master of Order Brith Abraham in New York City, New York, informing him that Mr. Aaron Agree, a member of Bne Moses Lodge #209, O.B.A., was accepted as a patient into the Sanatorium of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society. Letter states hope that he will be benefitted by his sojourn at the institution and is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.

Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Samuel Dorf, Grand Master of the Order Brith Abraham in New York, New York informs that Mr. Isidore Mendelsohn, on whose behalf Samuel Dorf wrote to JCRS, has been invited to enter the Sanatorium. Spivak mentions that Isidore Mendelsohn is a member of Jehudah Lodge #15 of the Grand Order of Brith Abraham. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.

Spivak in Denver, Colorado, stating that the bearer of this letter is Brother Kessler [Meyer Kessler], a member of Fall River Lodge No. 355, who is sick and in need of their aid. Letter requests that if they can kindly admit him as a patient of their insitution they will conver a great favor upon him. Letter requests that he do that best he can for him and is signed Leonard Leisersohn.

Spivak [misspelled in letter as Spiwak] in Denver, Colorado informs that the bearer of this letter is Isidore Mendelsohn, a member of Jehudah Lodge No. 15 of the Order of Brith Abraham in New York. Samuel Dorf informs that he enclosed a certificate that Mendelsohn is a fit patient for JCRS with chances of recovery. Samuel Dorf writes that he trusts that Spivak "may find it possible to admit him into your institution and do what you can for him."...

Dorf in NY on templated letterhead in black ink that reads, "Office of the United States Grand Lodge of the ORDER BRITH ABRAHAM" dated "Nov. 18th, 1908" [sic]. The letter informs Spivak that A. London has left NY for Denver with a mild tuberculosis case, and asks that Spivak would personally take care of the man. The letter is signed Samuel Dorf and Grand Mast.er is typed below.
