The Independent Order of B'nai B'rith was founded in New York City in 1843 by Jewish Germanic immigrants. B'nai B'rith is a philanthropic and social service organization that and seeks to integrate Jewish identity with the public and civil sphere in America.

Abstract

Certificate from B'nai B'rith in appreciation to Milton Anfenger for more than a half-century of service. The certificate was done in Washington, D. C. and was signed by the President and Secretary of B'nai B'rith. Milton Louis Anfenger served as president of the Denver Lodge No. 171 and as president and treasurer of B'nai B'rith Grand Lodge No. 2. Milton Anfenger was also a Colorado state senator and an attorney.

Abstract

Sidney Grazi was born in 1914, the oldest of four children born of immigrant parents (Aleppo, Syria; and Russia). He was a proficient musician, private pilot, and general contractor of homes and commercial properties in Denver through the Titan Construction Company. Collection contains awards and photographs related to Sidney Grazi from 1960 through 1965.
