Biography
Weiss Drug was a popular Jewish-owned East Denver drug store founded by brothers Martin and Fred Weiss around 1938. In addition to filling prescriptions, the Weiss brothers sold ice cream, candy, and imported domestic liquors and wines. The store was frequented by students from nearby East High School and neighborhood residents. Martin went on to found his own drug store, Marty Drug.
