Unknown person reads a piece written by Stan Talcott about Parrot City and its founder, John Moss. Also read is an August 19, 1974 article by Stan Talcott that ran in the Cortez Journal specifically about John Moss(1839-1880). Also read is a short essay by Stan Talcott titled "Places and Names" about the origins of many of the names in Southwestern Colorado. Unknown person then reads a short piece from A History of Montezuma County by Ira Freeman about George Bauer.
