John Norwood reflects on his father's employment in the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Company and his childhood, which included many moves across the country. Norwood discusses writing "Rio Grande Narrow Gauge" about the railroad, his research behind the book, and the history of the narrow gauge built by William Palmer.

Jennie Jensen Hancock reads an article that she wrote about the first thrashing machine to come to Mancos. She goes on to recount stories of her grandmother's (Celia Willden Jensen) life...

Joseph (Joe) Reilly, a retired Denver policeman, discusses his childhood and first job working at Gates Rubber Company in Denver. Reflects on his 28 career as a policeman in Denver, including Denver Police training in the 1920s, prohibition, police corruption, and the condition of prisons and jails. Reilly discusses the changes in the way that police officers are treated in the community, the evolution of police tools, and changes in training.

Kay Zinky, born in Rocky Ford, reflects on living in Colorado Springs, her connections to Mrs. Spencer Penrose and her memories of the Broadmoor hotel. Zinky discusses her experience performing for the troops during WWI and WWII and the changes to Colorado Springs after the Air Force Academy opened. Kay Zinky details her research on the B'hai faith and ʻAbduʼl-Bahá's visit to Colorado in 1912.
