Vallecitos, New Mexico. Two brothers are envious of their younger brother, thus, when the opportunity presents itself, they murder him in the forest and bury his body. Although they return home and tell their father that their brother is lost in the forest, an Indian shows up with a singing flower, which tells of the evil deed of the olders brothers. Quality:Fair

Tome, New Mexico. "Los Manueles" is a New Year's custom of friends visiting neighbors and greeting them in song and poetry in the wee hours of the morning.
