Biography
Alfred Lang was born in Karlsbad, Austria and the family settled in Omaha, Nebraska. He met his wife, Sarah Edelman Lang, in her family's kosher restaurant in Denver. The two were married February 25, 1900. Alfred worked peddling merchandise to the mining camps in the Idaho Springs area. Later, he opened the A. Lang Dry Goods Store at 2115 Larimer St. He died in Denver June 13, 1945.
