Biography

Located in Solomonville, Arizona, Solomon's Store was a saloon and a bank run by I. E. Solomon and his wife Anna Freudenthal from 1876-1910. The store started as a charcoal business, after Anna's brother loaned them $2000 to get started. In 1878 the store became too big for the two to manage, and they started to hire additional help. It was around this time that the area was established as its own town, Solomonville.
