Biography

The University of Denver College of Business Administration is the eighth oldest collegiate school of business in the United States, and has been accredited since 1923. Began as Business college in 1881. Became Business administration in 1908 and then Commerce Acounts and Finance in 1946. Also added Hotel FRestaurant Management in 1946 and gave out first MBA degree. Added Graduate School of Business and Public Management in 1977. In 1974, Dr. Firmin becomes Dean of the College of Business. In 1994, The College of Business Administration becomes the Daniels College of Business.
