The International Choreographed Ballroom Dance Association was started as the National Round Dance Board of Review in 1976-1977, became the Universal Round Dance Council in 1977, and changed to its current name in late 2007.

Syllabus contents includes photographs of organizers and teachers, clinic and workshop descriptions, and dance cue sheets. Ephemera includes URDC board meeting agenda, bylaw changes, Hall of Fame ballot, teacher evaluation form, receipts, program, welcome letter, and a handwritten list of an individual's clothing worn to each dance session.
