Denver Chapter of Hadassah

Box contains eight [8] file folders of Hadassah program materials, which include four [4] file folders of materials about the Al Galgalim program (a program to help families raise their children in the Jewish tradition); one [1] file folder of Hadassah Medical Organization materials; one [1] file folder of Hadassah College of Technology materials; one [1] file folder of materials given during a Hadassah Israel tour; and one [1] file folder of materials from the 1993 Education Day.

The Denver Chapter of Hadassah was organized in 1915. Hadassah is a Zionist organization that combine the Jewish emphasis on social welfare with the ideology of Zionism. The Denver Chapter continues to support Israel and to promote health awareness, education, and Zionist youth programs. The minutes, programs, publications, and scrapbooks and scrapbooks reflect the history of a Jewish women's organization with programs in Israel and Denver.
