Abstract Rabbi Samuel Baskin served in pulpits in Denver, Salt Lake City, and Brooklyn. His son, Rabbi Bernard Baskin, temporarily replaced Rabbi Herbert Friedman at Temple Emanuel when the latter became a wartime chaplain from 1944 to 1947. He retired after 40 years at a liberal synagogue in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
