Abstract

This box contains files on different tv and movie projects that Russell Porter took part in as well as poetry by Porter and a character portrait. Acting files include: resume and headshots, Kate McShane (1975), Audrey Rose (1976), The Betsy (1977), Harvey (1977), 10 Little Indians (1981), Martin Luther Film Project, and miscellaneous and playbills. One poetry folder contains loose poems and edits while the other is a bound volume.

Abstract R. Russell Porter (1908-1995) served as Head of the University Theater and Chairman of the School of Communication Arts at the University of Denver from 1964 to 1976. In addition to his teaching and administrative functions, Porter wrote, directed, and produced plays, operas and radio dramas. He also acted in plays and radio dramas.
