Biography

Marian Jewel Graham was born to Charles B. and Jewel J. Graham on September 14, 1922 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, New Mexico in 1939. She graduated from Colorado Woman's College in 1941 with an Associate of Arts, and from the University of Colorado in 1943. Her engagement to William "Buddy" Lum was announced circa 1944, and they were married between 1944 and 1954. Her last known residence was in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Graham died on May 25, 2011 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Abstract

Marian Jewel Graham was born in Colorado and graduated from Colorado Women’s College and the University of Colorado. She married William B. “Buddy” Lum, Jr. and went on to teach English at Rocky Ford High School in Rocky Ford, Colorado. This collection contains scrapbooks, personal notes, letters, telegrams, and memorabilia of Marian Graham, as well as postcards, photos, poetry, and newspaper clippings.
