Abstract
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to Dr. L.W. Steinbach, dated Sept. 23, 1907. States Louis Cohen is too sick to be discharged from the Sanatorium. States Dr. Spivak was happy to see Dr. L.W. Stenbach's handwriting as it, "brought to me many pleasant memories of the by-gone days-- the time when I was librarian at the Y.M.H.A." Letter is not signed, but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.

Abstract
Letter from Dr. C.D. Spivak to Mrs. Rose (Rosie) Cohen, dated Oct. 16, 1907. States a telegram was sent Oct. 10th and 11th announcing, "Louis Cohen, died at our Sanatorium on Thursday, Oct. 1oth at 3:15 pm. He was buried on the following day, Friday the 11th at 2:00 pm at Mount Nebo Cemetery, section 25 and lot 62." Additionally, letter requests a bill for $44.50 regarding funeral expenses be paid. Letter is not signed, but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.

Abstract
Letter from Rosa (Rosie) Cohen to Dr. C.D. Spivak, dated October 12, 1907 with a Received date of Oct. 16, 1907. States she received the telegram of her husband's, Louis Cohen, death and she would like a "sworn to before a Notary" death certificate including the hour and time of death. Also, states she will forward a check if sent a bill for the expenses of her late husband's funeral and burial. Letter is signed, Rosie Cohen.
