Biography

Irene Miller Stein is a noted Denver artist. She is the daughter of pioneer Colorado cattle dealer Robert Lazar Miller, who immigrated to Colorado from Lithuania in 1881. She married Azriel Stein, founder of Pencol Drug, a prominent Denver pharmacy for decades.

Abstract

Some of the girls are identified as Esther Wollach, Lilly Judd (Israelsky), Daisy Brodsky Garlett, Naomi Sloan, Katherine Sloan, Tillye Shulman Levy, and Irene Miller Stein. Another girl is identified with the last name Kaufman and two additional girls are identified with the last name Atlovick.
