Gwen L. Bowen was born in Denver, Colo. She was a first grade teacher at McKinley Elementary in Denver. Associated with: Denver Civic Ballet, Premiere Dance Arts Company, Gwen Bowen School of Dance Arts, PDAC - Arts for All.

Box contains misc. photos from Gwen Bowens life including photos of her, the school, the students, performances and more. Box also contains three intact photo albums. One is one of the 1973 production of Heidi, one is photos of Gwen's students from the 1950's and 1960's, and the last is a Christmas photo album of what seems to be various students. Finally the box cotains a larger print of the attendees of the 1957 Dance Educators of America Convention.
