Bronfin immigrated to the United States in 1902. A physician with a medical degree from the State University of New York. Box contains material culture from the Bronfin and Kauvar families; pocket watches, a wristwatch, a gold pin, and a locket with a bible inside. The first pocket watch was Isadore Bronfin's and has his monogram engraved on the backside. The second pocket watch was Charles Kauvar's and has an engraving on the backside detailing it as a gift from his wife Sara Kauvar. The wristwatch was Gerald Bronfin's. The locket housing the bible and the pin are both of unknown ownership.
