Dr. Herbert B. Whitney was Professor of Medicine at DU, athlete: Men's football [coach?], 1892. Elected member of the American Climatological Association, 1898. Served as Chair, Colorado Medical Society Section on Pediatrics, Contagious Diseases and Sanitary Science, 1907. Listed in 1890 Denver City Directory at 10 Masonic Temple, 16th, cor. Welton; r. 16th avenue, cor. Downing avenue.
