This folder contains correspondence, notes, and drafts of papers pertaining to a meeting of individuals associated with the Institute for Vico Studies. The meeting was to be held in 1975 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Giambattista Vico's ''New Science,'' and Burton Feldman was invited to speak. The topic that Feldman approached was Vico as a bridge between mythology and philosophy.

This folder contains Feldman's diploma from the University of Chicago awarding him a Doctorate in Philosophy and his awarding of Professor Emeritus status in the University of Denver English department.

This folder contains files pertaining to Burton Feldman's efforts to publish a translation of Gershom Scholem's essay entitled ''Walter Benjamin and his Angel.'' The translation was done by Werner Dannhauser, and the folder also contains his correspondence and a full copy of his translation of the work.
