Feldman, Burton

This folder is the contents of a binder labeled ''Figures''. Feldman used this notebook to record his research and opinions on major figures and how they related to the idea of myth. Each section on an individual figure included a section that described ''his position in a nutshell,'' a primary bibliography of the individual's works regarding myth, a secondary bibliography that also covered myth, critiques by others, and questions that Feldman had.

This folder contains a collection of Burton Feldman's notes on and drafts of a paper on myth as it neared its completion.

This folder contains publications mentioning or reviewing Feldman's ''The Rise of Modern Mythology: 1680 - 1860''.
