This folder contains research and notes collected by Burton Feldman for his book ''112 Mercer Street''.

This folder contains a notebook and notes of Burton Feldman's pertaining to myth, politics, and the notion of kinship. The notebook is filled, largely, with lists of authors that Burton would potentially be referencing. Alongside the notebook are a stack of index cards with notes concerning the concepts the authors discussed. The folder also contains some loose sheets of paper and newspaper clippings that had been in the notebook.

This folder contains Burton Feldman's research on Georges Sorel. This research was not included in the final draft of the book ''The Rise of Modern Mythology: 1680 - 1860.'' The research may have been considered for the book when the scope of the project was larger, or it may have been collected to be used in a potential sequel.
