Feldman, Burton

This folder contains more than one hundred drafts by Feldman of the introduction to ''The Rise of Modern Mythology: 1680 - 1860'' that have been extracted from a large binder. Each draft is numbered with the notes that contributed to the changes.

This folder contains notes and several drafts of a paper that Burton Feldman wrote about Bronislaw Malinowski. Malinowski was an anthropologist who made great contributions to the study of ethnology.

This folder contains Burton Feldman's research on Adolf Bastian. This research was not included in the final draft of the book ''The Rise of Modern Mythology: 1680 - 1860.'' The research may have been considered for the book when the scope of the project was larger, or it may have been collected to be used in a potential sequel.
