This folder is the contents of a binder labeled ''Figures''. Feldman used this notebook to record his research and opinions on major figures and how they related to the idea of myth. Each section on an individual figure included a section that described ''his position in a nutshell,'' a primary bibliography of the individual's works regarding myth, a secondary bibliography that also covered myth, critiques by others, and questions that Feldman had.

The notebook is filled, largely, with lists of authors that Burton would potentially be referencing. The folder also contains some loose sheets of paper and newspaper clippings that had been in the notebook.
