Biography

William M. Weil was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 8, 1918 and earned a BA at Case Western Reserve. He was a distant cousin of Hannah and Jack Levy, the owners of the Fashion Bar stores. He began as a salesman in 1952 and became president of Fashion Bar Stores in 1968. His job at Fashion Bar was kept open for him while he served in the U.S. military from 1943-1946. William Weil retired from Fashion Bar in 1973 and died on May 24, 2002.

Abstract Siblings Hannah, Jack and Edward Levy immigrated to America in the 1920s. Jack Levy came to America in 1923, headed to Denver, and began working at his uncle's business, Hilb and Company. Edward Levy reached Denver in 1925 and also started working for Hilb and Company, eventually becoming the president.
