The letter reads, "This is to notify you that we have today invited Mr. Meyer Buxbaum to enter the Sanatorium" [sic]. The letter is not signed but Secretary is typed at the bottom.

Buxbaum "has no [illegible] symptom, digestion is good," and "[h]e has been here over 9 mos + I would recommend him for discharged [discharge]"...

Overview Handwritten letter in black ink to "Dr. C D Spivak [JCRS] Denver" from Dr. Fish on typed letterhead that states, "SANATORIUM OF THE JEWISH CONSUMPTIVES' RELIEF SOCIETY...OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT EDGEWATER, COLORADO" dated "April 21 09" [sic]. In the letter Dr. Fish informs Dr. Spivak about the death of M. Buxbaum, and gives an inventory of items he left upon his death. Also, Dr. Fish asks what should be done with M. Buxbaum's clothes. The letter is signed JB Fish.

Buxbaum, who ended his left JCRS on April 9th, though he was instructed to leave on April 20th. Spivak asks if "Mr. B" has "given you any reason why he left the Sanatorium eleven days ahead of time?" Overview Handwritten letter in black ink headed "Edgewater Colo," addressed "to the Board of Trustees of the J.C.R.S." from Meyer Buxbaum dated "Jan. 10, 1908" [sic]. The letter is a plea for an extention to M. Buxbaum's Sanatorium stay to the JCRS board from M. Buxbaum personally. Although M. Buxbaum was instructed "to leave" JCRS "Jan. 20th," he admits, "I am really ashamed to ask for more relief," but "I cant work and I haven't got anybody to help me along" [sic]. The letter is signed Meyer Buxbaum.
