Overview Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to J. Hurwitz. Spivak admits that he forgot to fulfill his promise of writing to Mr. Marinoff regarding Hurwitz’s assistance to JCRS. Spivak also thanks Hurwitz for everything he has done for JCRS. He tells Hurwitz that the Board of Trustees also express their gratitude for the good work that Hurwitz has put towards JCRS. Overview Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to Jacob Marinoff informing him that Abraham Gershonowitz was invited for admission to the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society. Spivak trusts that Gershonowitz's stay at JCRS will be beneficial for his health. He signs the letter "Secretary" at the bottom.

Overview Handwritten letter from J. Hurwitz to C.D. Spivak. Hurwitz assures Spivak that the $10.00 will be paid in the near future. He also thanks Spivak for the kindness he has shown Schwartz and says he will do anything he can towards the noble work that JCRS provides. Hurwitz also asks why Mr. Marinoff did not write to him while he was visiting Seattle. Hurwitz admits that he was very busy during the time Marinoff was in Seattle, but he would like to help JCRS any way he can.
