Biography

Noel H. Pugach is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of New Mexico. He specializes in U.S. Foreign Relations, with an emphasis on U.S.-China relations in the 20th century. He has also taught courses on Jewish History and the Holocaust. In recent years, Dr. Pugach has been studying He also studies New Mexico Jewish History since the mid-nineteenth century to the present.

Abstract

The booklet is the product of the New Mexico Jewish Historical Society's Jewish Pioneer Oral History Video Archive Project, conducted in partnership with the Department of History and the Center for Regional Studies at the University of New Mexico. The booklet is composed of recollections of members of the Freudenthal, Lesinsky and Solomon families.
