Adelstein, Bertha Greenberg, 1904-1993

Bertha Greenberg, daughter of Aaron Greenberg and Julia Miller, was born in 1904 in Minsk, Russia. The family moved to Sioux City, Iowa and on January 27, 1924 she married Morris Adelstein of Kadoka, South Dakota. In 1924, Morris Adelstein and a banker formed Northwestern Engineering Company. Bertha Adelstein worked out in the field with the companhy until her two sons, Stanford and Robert Adelstein were born. In 1945 the Adelsteins moved to Denver and joined Temple Emanuel. Bertha Adelstein died on November 25, 1993 in Denver.
