The letter explains that JCRS found a watch and $20.00 in gold on Morris and that $1.50 went to pay for the death certificate and $18.50 was sent to Mr. M. A. Saly for burial expenses. Overview Typed letter to "Rev. S. Levin, 94 Newberrg Ave., Chicago, Ill." from Dr. Spivak dated November 12th, 1908. The letter notifies Levin that M. Gottlieb died and was buried at the Mount Nebro [sic] Cemetery. The letter also notes that JCRS sent Mrs. [Lena] Gottlieb a death certificate on November 9th. The letter is not signed but Secretary is typed at the bottom.

Overview Typed letter to S. Kahn [sic] in New York, NY from Dr. Spivak dated November 13th, 1908. The letter explains that the Certificate of M. Gottlieb's Death and the funeral expenses bill were sent to Lena Gottlieb on November 9th. Furthermore, Spivak found 20 dollars and a watch on M. Gottlieb when he died. Spivak explains that he "Put of the $20.00...$1.50 for the Death Certificate, and sent the remaining $18.50 to Mr. M. A. Saly...which leaves a balance of $26.00 still due, as per bill sent Mrs....

Overview Handwritten postcard to the JCRS in Denver, CO from L. Gottlieb in Philadelphia, PA dated September 19th, 1910. In the postcard Lena thanks JCRS for their past favors and letters, telling JCRS to excuse two of her previous letters on an undisclosed subject. Lena also wishes JCRS staff "a joyous, healthful New Year." The letter is signed L. Gottlieb.

Overview Receipt filled out in pencil from Wells Fargo & Company Express in Denver, CO to JCRS dated December 12th, 1908. The receipt is from M. Gottlieb's record and it reads, "Received from JCRS 1421 Court Pl [illegible] Said to Contain Watch VALUE Declared by Shipper 10.00 Dollars, Marked Mrs Lena Gottlieb NY City, NY." The receipt also outlines Wells Fargo's terms and conditions. The receipt is signed illegibly.
