Abstract Handwritten letter from Mrs. A. Kaplan to JCRS. The letter is written on stationary from "L. Kaplan Scrap Iron Dealer Office and Yard" in Salem, Ohio. Mrs. Kaplan asks JCRS if they can provide any information about Sam Brody because his sister is living in Salem, Ohio and she has not heard from him in twelve or thirteen years. She states that any help will be appreciated.

Abstract Typed letter from C. Heye to C.D. Spivak with information about the insurance policy found with Sam Brody's personal belongings at JCRS. Heye explains that the policy was Simon Brody's but it was not enforced because of a missed payment due June 20th, 1905. He tells Spivak that according to the application for the policy, his sister Miss Matle was living in Lachowicze, Russia but he mentions that he does not know where she resides at the time of writing the letter to Spivak.
